Follow our guide to complete 'The Civil Border Patrol' mission in Grand Theft Auto V, including tips for the 'Mariachi My Ride' and 'Stop The Music' Gold Medal objectives.

Alright, let's get this mission done. After you've wrapped up 'Mr. Philips,' you'll need to head out to the Grand Senora Desert to meet up with the Minute Men. This is where 'The Civil Border Patrol' kicks off.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, after the intro scene, you'll need to race over to the location marked for the suspects. Once you get there, head inside the bar to try and find them.
  2. 2
Unfortunately, they're not in the bar, so you'll have to head back to your Patrol Car. Get ready for a chase because they're fleeing in a car.
  3. 3
Once you manage to stop their car, you'll need to use the stun gun on them. After that, just leave the area, and you'll have completed the mission.
🏆 Gold Medal Requirements
Mariachi My Ride: You need to steal the band's Tornado car after you've stunned them.
Stop The Music: You have to stop the band within 00:40.
Tips
  • For the 'Mariachi My Ride' objective, once you've stunned the band and they're being rounded up, just hop into the car they were driving. Don't worry about the popped tires; just have fun driving it back!
  • When going for 'Stop The Music,' the Border Patrol car isn't the best for off-roading, so be careful on those dirt tracks. Try to avoid sharp turns. Switch to a Micro-SMG and aim for the tires of their Tornado. Make sure you don't shoot the band members themselves, or you might kill them and fail the objective. Pop their tires, and they'll pull over.
