Alright, let's get this Submarine Recon Setup mission sorted in Grand Theft Auto V. This one's all about getting some intel, and you'll be using the Stromberg for most of it.

Walkthrough

First things first, once the mission kicks off, hop into your Stromberg. You'll get a waypoint leading you towards North Chumash. Head over there.

When you arrive, you'll need to deal with an incoming convoy. Use the Stromberg's missiles to take them all out. Once they're gone, you'll get another waypoint, this time heading towards Paleto Bay or Paleto Cove. Follow that.

Once you reach the water, press [Right D-Pad] to switch the Stromberg into Submarine Mode. Now, drive over to the red markers you'll see in the water. Your job here is to use Torpedoes to destroy 10 Sea Mines.

After you've cleared out all the mines, it's time to get up close and personal with the target. Approach the submarine and make sure you scan its front, middle, and back sections. This is the main objective, so get all those scans done.

If you're on the other team (meaning you're not the one doing the setup, but the one receiving the intel), your task is a bit different. You'll need to approach the wreckage (presumably of the convoy or something related), scan that, and then head back to land. From there, take the Strombergs to the designated drop-off point to wrap up your part of the mission.

Tips

Make sure you've got the Stromberg ready to go before you start. It's essential for both destroying the convoy and dealing with the sea mines.
Don't rush the scanning part. Ensure you get clear scans of all three sections of the submarine (front, middle, and back) to avoid having to repeat it.
If you're playing the 'other team' role, pay attention to the waypoint for the wreckage scan and the final drop-off.
