    After completing "Hammer and Forge," Komatsu Forge is liberated. Interact with the Merchant, Trapper, Armorer, and Swordsmith for upgrades.

    In the southwest corner of the camp, find the dojo and speak with Monk Genzo. Turn in collected Sashimono Banners to receive Saddle Kits. You should have enough for the Cloudless Dash and Swift Summer saddle kits.

    Find Record: To Genzo in Komatsu Forge on the floor by the shelves in the dojo.

    Head outside to the courtyard and find the Komatsu Bamboo Strike. Complete it to progress towards unlocking another Resolve container.

    Go to the river, cross the left bridge, and follow the path west. Find a Fox Den and follow the Fox to the Brown River Inari Shrine. Honor the shrine and pet the Fox.

    Return to the forge, climb onto the roof, and crawl to the peak. Drop down to the crossbeam and pick up Vanity Item: Forgemaster's Headband.

    Go outside and follow the path to stone steps leading to a cemetery. On the first raised platform to the left, find Singing Crickets (Komatsu Forge).

    Turn around from the crickets to see three large statues. Bow to the Hidden Altar next to them.

    Continue through the graveyard to a half-collapsed house. Next to the woman scrubbing the floor, find Record: First Meeting.

    Find Yuna in town. Before speaking to her, go to the second floor of the building she is outside of and grab Record: The Black Sands from the floor.

    Climb down and speak with Yuna. Walk with her to the forge, where she helps a peasant fix the bridge.

    Enter the forge and speak with Taka to receive the Iron Hook (grappling hook).

    Ryuzo arrives and informs you that the Mongols have captured his best fighters. He asks for your help to rescue them from Fort Yatate. This begins The Iron Hook mission.

    Ride north with Ryuzo to a meeting spot with the remaining Straw Hat Ronin. After a cutscene, ride north with the Ronin to Fort Yatate.

    Ascend the cliff alone to sneak into the camp and free Ryuzo's men. They will then join the assault, similar to the attack on Fort Ohiro, but you can now utilize the Iron Hook.
