Walkthrough
  1. 1
Fast travel to the Logging Camp. Head northwest and look for sparks from a campfire on your left. Speak with the musician Tsutsu to begin the mythic tale.
  2. 2
Head northwest from Tsutsu and cross the river to find Tsutsu Bamboo Strike. Master it.
  3. 3
Cross back over the river and follow the path east/northeast to Mongol Camp: Stone Arch Crossing. Clear the camp and kill the leader to advance your Water Stance unlock. Search the stable for Mongol Artifact: Saddle.
  4. 4
Take the path east then northeast to a waypoint marked by violet chrysanthemums. Follow them up a small peak.
  5. 5
Climb the rock holds on the peak and work your way clockwise to find a Shrine. Examine the incense, then the container to find a map to Tadayori's Rest.
  6. 6
From the cliff edge, look north to spot a trail of chrysanthemums leading to Houren's Pasture. Climb down the rock path and make your way north to the river and across to the field of purple flowers.
  7. 7
Follow the flowers to the rocks and look for a stone lantern. Crawl through the hole next to it to find Tadayori's Rest.
  8. 8
Head around the path, climb the rocks, and jump across the gap. Examine the map on the ground.
  9. 9
Continue through the gap in the rock. In the center of the field, find the Hidden Altar behind a torii gate and bow to it.
  10. 10
Head to the graveyard, examine the incense, then the Nagao Tombstone and the main tombstone to read Tadayori's epitaph.
  11. 11
Kaede will appear and challenge you to a duel.
  12. 12
After defeating Kaede, she reveals the armor is not there but hints it's in Azamo Bay.
  13. 13
Fast travel to Kuta River Bridge. Head south across the bridge and continue south until you see a Fox on your left. Follow it to Jito's Point Inari Shrine and honor it.
  14. 14
Return to the path and continue south. Ignore Mongol Territory: Destroy the Logging Camp for now.
  15. 15
Continue south until you see Mongol Camp: Salt Wind Estate on your left. Clear the camp and kill the leader to unlock Wind Stance. Search under the leather lean-to for Mongol Artifact: Yatga.
  16. 16
Get back on the path and continue south. You'll see a Mongol camp on the beach to your left. Take the first offshoot to the left down the hill to clear it. Look for a small chest atop rocks near the entrance for Mongol Artifact: Urtuu.
  17. 17
Head back to the main path and continue south. Take the next offshoot left and follow the path around the Old Azamo Cliffs.
  18. 18
Continue to a split in the path and take the right split north to Azamo Survivor Camp.
  19. 19
Head back south and continue west to the next left offshoot. Follow it to the beach and look out to Wakou's Island for Pillar of Honor (Twilight Oni). Grab the sword kit.
  20. 20
Head back to the main path and continue west until you reach Mongol Camp: Tangled Crossroads. Clear the camp and kill the leader to unlock Moon Stance. Search the stables for Mongol Artifact: Mongolian Horse.
