Learn how to protect Nils and defeat Eubans in Fire Emblem Heroes Chapter 22: Kinship's Bond. Recruit Rath and Heath, and snag valuable items like the Knight Crest!

Alright, welcome to Chapter Twenty-Two: Kinship's Bond! This map throws a few new things at you, but don't worry, we'll get through it. Your main goals here are to either protect Nils for a full 11 turns or take down the boss, Eubans. You'll also be getting some new allies and facing a potential recruit, so keep your eyes peeled.

New Characters:

  • Isadora: She joins automatically, so no worries there.
  • Rath: He'll show up as an ally on Turn 2. Lyn is key to recruiting him, so make sure she's positioned to talk to him.
  • Heath: This guy starts as an enemy, but you can recruit him if you use one of your Lords to talk to him.

Boss Data:

  • Eubans: He's a Paladin at Level 6. His stats are HP 38, STR 14, SKL 10, SPD 9, DEF 12, RES 14, and LUC 5. He drops a Knight Crest when stolen and a Spear when defeated.

Items:

  • 10000G: Found in the left chest in the southwest area.
  • Brave Axe: Found in the right chest in the southwest area.
  • Knight Crest: You can steal this from Eubans.
  • Spear: Dropped by Eubans when defeated.

Walkthrough:

This map is pretty straightforward, but Eubans is in a slightly different spot than usual, and you'll need a thief to snag that Knight Crest. I highly recommend bringing both of your thieves with you.

  1. Westward Movement and Recruitment: Start by moving Legault and one of your Lords towards the west. Your goal here is to lure Heath out. When the time is right, use your Lord to talk to him and recruit him. Don't attack him, or you'll miss out on recruiting him!
  2. Dealing with the Thief: Once Heath is on your side, use him to take care of the thief hanging out in the south. After that, Legault can safely move in and grab the chests in that southwest area.
  3. Main Force Advance: While your western units are busy, your main army should be pushing south quickly. You'll want to meet the incoming reinforcements and be ready for action.
  4. Lyn's Eastward Prep: Meanwhile, Lyn should start moving east. This is in preparation for Rath's arrival as an ally on Turn 2. Make sure she's in a position where she can talk to him as soon as he appears.
  5. Experience and Boss Takedown: The general idea is to get as much experience as possible. Once your forces converge, make your way to Eubans. Strong lance users like Oswin, or well-trained axe users like Bartre, should be able to handle him. Be a bit careful with your fliers, as they might be a bit too fragile for this fight.
  6. Stealing the Crest: Don't forget about that Knight Crest! If you want it, use your other thief to steal it from Eubans. After the steal, use a flier to quickly move the thief out of harm's way.
Tips
  • Make sure you have a thief ready to go for those chests and the Knight Crest.
  • Position Lyn to recruit Rath as soon as he appears on Turn 2.
  • Use your Lords to recruit Heath early on.
  • Strong physical units are your best bet against Eubans.
