Character Death & RNG: If a character dies and you reset the game, the same sequence of Random Number Generator (RNG) results will occur unless you reset the entire chapter. This means the character will likely die again in the same way. Accept the loss or reset the chapter.

Character Affinities: Each character, including the tactician, has an affinity based on their birth month (e.g., November is Ice). If the tactician shares an affinity with a character, that character receives a small, generally negligible boost to their hit and evade rates.

Character Disappearances: After Chapter 10, if your old characters disappear, simply continue playing. They will reappear later in the game.

Using Marcus (Prepromote): Marcus is a powerful unit who starts promoted (a prepromote). While strong, he gains EXP much slower than unpromoted units. Overusing him can sap EXP from units with more growth potential. Use Marcus to weaken enemies for others, rescue allies, or quickly clear chapters due to his high movement, but avoid relying on him as your sole strong unit late-game.

Afa's Drops: This item, given by Athos, increases a character's growth rates for all stats by an estimated 5%. The character using it can also comment on your tactician rank in the Battle History.

Prepromotes vs. Unpromoted Units: Prepromotes like Marcus, Harken, and Pent often have more stable stats and better CON/weapon levels but less growth potential. Unpromoted units have higher potential but require significant time to level up.

Devil Axe Curse: The Devil Axe is cursed and can backfire, potentially causing a critical hit to kill the user. However, it provides eight times the normal weapon EXP, making it useful for leveling weapon ranks.

Character Usage Flexibility: Generally, you can use any character you like. The game is flexible, and most mistakes can be corrected. The only exception might be Hector Hard Mode.

Unique Class Promotions: Thieves and Pirates cannot promote with the Earth Seal. Thieves require the Fell Contract, and Pirates require the Ocean Seal.

Late-Game Support Conversations: To get support conversations for characters like Karla and Renault, who appear late, remember that the Final Chapter is split into two parts. You can gain supports in both parts and in bonus chapters (like in Hector mode after Victory or Death).

Louise & Pent's Support: Louise and Pent have an automatic A support. To trigger their specific support conversations, they must both be present in chapters like Cog of Destiny, Victory or Death, and Light Part II, and you must use the 'talk' command.

Flashing Green Text: Flashing green text indicates a stat has reached its maximum for that unit (except HP, which caps at 60 and never flashes). For items, it means the enemy will drop it upon death. For weapon level, it signifies the S rank. For tactician rank, it means S rank. A flashing '+X' next to a stat indicates a bonus from an item.

Stat Maxing: Don't worry if a character is close to maxing out stats. Balanced stats are generally more beneficial than having a few extremely high and others extremely low, unless aiming for a specific Link Arena team.
