Master Chapter Nineteen Gaiden Gaiden in Fire Emblem Heroes! Learn strategies for defeating Teodor, managing thieves, and securing valuable items like Eclipse and Dragonshield.
Hey there! This chapter, "Fog of War," is a special one for Hector's story. It's got some plot stuff going on, so be aware of that if you're trying to avoid spoilers. To even get here, you needed to have defeated Kishuna in Chapter Nineteen Gaiden and made sure Nils hit at least level 7 in Lyn Mode on Normal or Hard. If you did all that, you're ready to go!
Objective: Seize throne
New characters: None
Boss Data:
- Teodor — Druid L17 w/Eclipse, Nosferatu (HP 30, MAG 16, SKL 15, SPD 12, DEF 9, RES 18, LUC 3)
Items:
- Chest Key (steal from thief)
- Lockpick (steal from thief)
- Talisman (lone chest in north)
- Eclipse (south west room, left chest)
- Dragonshield (south west room, right chest)
- 1This is a pretty fun chapter exclusive to Hector's route, and there are a bunch of items to grab. Keep in mind that the thieves here are really eager to loot the chests, especially the ones down south. To deal with this, you'll want to split your forces.
- 2Send Hector, Oswin, and your main crew northwest. Push through the enemy's main forces, taking out anyone who gets in your way. Be super careful of the ballista nearby! If you have a flier, try to take it out quickly.
- 3Meanwhile, send another group east. A strong ranged attacker like Canas would be perfect for this squad, and you should definitely include Matthew. Your healer can tag along with the main force heading northwest.
- 4Keep advancing through the chapter, defeating enemies and disarming that ballista. The goal is to have your eastern force reach the southern chests around the same time the thief shows up.
- 5Use Matthew to steal from the thief or grab items from the chests as needed. Once you've got what you need, Canas can take out the thief.
- 6After dealing with the southern area, have both parties converge towards the center of the map.
- 7Matthew should then make his way to the northern chest. Interestingly, there's a thief there with only an Iron Sword, which is a bit odd.
- 8Teodor, the boss, is located in the northeast part of the map, right by the throne. He's a really tough opponent for this point in the game. To beat him, park Hector directly in front of Teodor and equip him with a Wolf Beil.
- 9Teodor will likely use Nosferatu, which will hit Hector, but Hector will counter-attack, chipping away at his health. Heal Hector up, and then have him attack Teodor again to defeat him.
- 10Once Teodor is down, seize the throne to complete the chapter.
- Splitting your forces is key to grabbing all the items before the thieves do.
- A flier is highly recommended to quickly neutralize the ballista threat.
- Matthew's steal ability is crucial for getting the Chest Key and Lockpick.
- Park Hector with a Wolf Beil to tank Teodor's Nosferatu and counter-attack effectively.
