How to Find Rya and Complete Her Quest

First Meeting - East of Scenic Isle: Travel east of Scenic Isle in Liurnia to find Rya at a pavilion. She has lost her necklace and asks you to retrieve it.

Retrieve the Necklace: Head northwest to Boilprawn Shack. Speak to Blackguard, the thief. You can either buy the necklace for 1000 Runes or kill him to loot it. Purchasing it allows you to start Blackguard's Quest.

Return to Rya: Give the necklace back to Rya. She will thank you, give you a Volcano Manor Invitation, and depart.

Second Meeting - Lux Ruins: After reaching the Altus Plateau via the Grand Lift of Dectus, you might see Rya. If not, head northwest to the Lux Ruins. Find the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace nearby, where Rya should be. Speak with her to learn more about Volcano Manor.

Third Meeting - Volcano Manor: Upon reaching Volcano Manor, accept Lady Tanith's request to join. Obtain the Drawing-Room Key to access the western corridor. Speak with Rya and exhaust her dialogue. Complete the first assassination contract and speak to Rya again. After completing the second assassination contract, find a serpent in the room opposite Rya's usual spot; this is Zorayas, Rya's true form. Speak to Tanith to learn more.

Discovering the Secret Passage: Refresh at a Site of Grace and return to Rya's room to find her in human form. She will hint at noises from the adjacent room. Speak to Tanith about "Tanith's Troubles." Strike the wall in the room next to Rya to find a secret passage leading to the Prison Town Church Site of Grace. Progress through the Legacy Dungeon to the Guest Hall Site of Grace. You can optionally speak to Rya here and tell her of the dark side of Volcano Manor.

Fourth Meeting - Volcano Manor: Return to the Guest Hall Site of Grace and proceed through Volcano Manor to the Temple of Eiglay. Defeat the Godskin Noble (Volcano Manor). Touch the Grace and obtain the Serpent's Amnion from the altar. Return to Rya and give her the Serpent's Amnion.

Fifth Meeting - Volcano Manor: Refresh at a Site of Grace and return to Rya's room; she will be missing. Speak to Tanith about "Zoraya's absence" and she will give you the Tonic of Forgetfulness.

Final Meeting - Volcano Manor: Track down Zorayas. Return to the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace, take the lift up, and leap down. Follow the path through fire slugs and a lava field. Continue past an iron maiden to a window you can climb through. Open the door, go upstairs, and find a lift. Ride it down and drop onto a doorway on the northwest wall. Exit via the window, cross the lava field north, and climb through another window to find Rya.

Quest Conclusion: At this point, you have several choices:

• Do not give Rya the Tonic and do not kill her: Refuse her offer to kill her and do not give her the tonic. Return after defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.

Give Rya the Tonic of Forgetfulness: This will help ease her pain.

Kill Rya: If you choose to kill her.
