Hey there, Tarnished! If you're wondering where to find Miriel, the Pastor of Vows, and what goodies he's slinging, you've come to the right place. Miriel is a super helpful merchant in Elden Ring, selling both Sorceries and Incantations. Plus, he's got a key role in explaining some of the lore surrounding the Liurnia region. The Church of Vows, where he hangs out, is also your go-to spot for absolution if you accidentally aggro an NPC.

To find this friendly turtle-pope, head to Liurnia and follow the eastern road along Liurnia Highway. Keep an eye out for the Artist's Shack; from there, you'll want to hop across some rocks and continue north. It's a short trek uphill to the northwest, and you'll soon find the Church of Vows Site of Grace. You can't miss the church itself, sitting pretty to the east of Liurnia.

Miriel doesn't just offer lore dumps and a place to clear your slate; he's also a merchant for spells. You can give him Scrolls and Prayerbooks to expand his inventory. The best part? Miriel isn't tied to any quests and can't die or move, making him the perfect guy to entrust your spellbooks to. Just a heads-up: if you decide to go rogue and kill Miriel for his Bell Bearing, you'll only be able to buy his initial stock from the Twin Maiden Husks. You won't get access to the extra spells he learns from Scrolls and Prayerbooks.
