Caelid is a desolate region in Elden Ring, heavily affected by Scarlet Rot and populated by undead and mutated creatures. It contains 30 unique locations and numerous Sites of Grace, accessible from the northeast of Limgrave. Be aware that many Caelid enemies and bosses are challenging for low-level players.

2. Bestial Sanctum — In the northeasternmost part of Dragonbarrow. Guarded by the Black Blade Kindred boss. Home to Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. Accessible via the Sending Gate behind the Third Church of Marika in eastern Limgrave.
3. Caelid Waypoint Ruins — Found by following Caelid Highway South. Good for farming Rot Grease. Contains the Meteoric Ore Blade. No bosses.
4. Caelem Ruins — Located in western Caelid, reachable by following Caelid Highway. Contains the Visage Shield after defeating the Mad Pumpkin Head Duo boss.
5. Cathedral of Dragon Communion — In southwestern Caelid, reached via Caelid Highway South. A Banished Knight patrols the area. Players can interact with the dragon altar for the Ritual of Dragon Communion to obtain incantations.
