    Begin by searching the southwest corner for Montbelliard’s Ring and return it to the Noblewoman for 5 Court Approval. Read the plaque at the fountain for the Winter Palace codex.

    Climb the stairs to the mid tier and then the right set to the Upper Level. Search for a Halla Statuette and move along the back wall to the left to find a Chest.

    On the left Upper Level (west), eavesdrop on nobles. Turn north and walk down the back wall to find a Storage Key in a flower bed.

    Drop down one level and unlock the Storage Room beneath the western Upper Level. Inside, find a Scandalous Secret, a hidden Caprice coin, and a Chest.

    Head east to the other side and use the Halla Statuette to open the door. Inside, loot the two stashes with Rare Weapons. Open the gate to proceed.

    Find Josephine on the right side of the Ballroom. Further down, find A Compendium of Orlesian Theater on the couch.

    On the other side of the room, interact with Vivienne (if present), Leliana, and Cullen. Listen to conversations.

    On the balcony, grab the Halla Statuette and the Scandalous Secret. Open the door at the left end using the statuette. Loot the Chest and pick up Halamshiral Investigation Clues.

    Enter the Grand Library. In the back left, pull a book to reveal a hidden room. Loot the Chest and read the letter.

    Light the veilfire and the urns outside in the following order: Etienne I, Reville, Etienne II, Judicael I, Judicael II, Florian. This reveals a secret area. Loot the room for Confustion Grenade Recipe, a Rare Belt, Masterwork Magister Staff Blade schematic, and other items.

    Exit through the side doors and go down the steps. Search the bookshelf for an update in the Halamshiral Investigation: Clues.
