First things first, head over to the Templar’s Hall. You need to have a chat with either Orsino or Meredith to get the ball rolling and pick up some crucial information.

Once you've got the intel, it's time to head to Hightown, but make sure you go at night. Inside the Hightown Estates, you'll run into some trouble – expect a battle! After you've dealt with the enemies, be sure to loot the Templar Lieutenant. You're looking for the Conspirator’s Notes and the Protection of the Faith.

Next up, make your way to the Docks, again, during the night. Find the Warehouse located in the Western Warehouse District. Head through the northern door first – there's a chest there that's a bit tricky to open (it's marked as 'complex'). After that, push into the main area of the warehouse. You'll face another group of enemies here. Once they're down, check the nearby chest for the Blade of Mercy and search the bodies for an item called Three Wolf Boon. Don't forget to scour the rest of the area for any crates and barrels. Keep an eye out for a specific crate in the northwest corner; it contains the Sigil of the Mage Underground.

Now, it's time to head to The Wounded Coast. Take the northern path when you get there. In the northern split of the path, you'll find a pile of bones. If you continue along the normal path, you'll spot a corpse. Approaching this corpse will trigger an ambush by some Tal-Vashoth. After the fight, check the camp for a complex chest. Then, head west to a larger camp. You'll find plenty of crates and barrels to loot here. Venture into the southern part of this camp, where you'll encounter more Tal-Vashoth. Look for a pile of bones to the south, past the Tal-Vashoth enemies; interacting with it will yield a Qunari Sword. After leaving this camp, head south for yet another battle against the Tal-Vashoth.

After that scrap, backtrack east until you find an elfroot. Near the entrance of this path, you'll also find a corpse. Approaching this corpse will reveal The Awiergan Scroll: First A.
