First things first, you need to head over to the Hightown Market during the day. Keep an eye out for a 'Help Wanted!' sign near a guy named Worthy. Reading that sign is what kicks off this quest for you.

After you've got the quest, make your way to the upper tier of the Market. You're looking for Ghyslain de Carrac. Chat with him and agree to help him out.

Now, you'll need to visit the Blooming Rose, but only at night. Inside, find Mais Dalesdottir. She's the one you'll turn in a quest to, but that's not our main goal here.

Keep searching the Blooming Rose. Head upstairs and find Jethann in one of the rooms. He'll give you some more info. While you're in there, look for a cleverly hidden crate near the wardrobe. Inside, you'll find the Stone Toe item. Grab it!

Next up, it's time to head to Darktown. As soon as you arrive, you'll get another quest called 'Talk to Anders'.

Make your way to the meeting spot at the southern end of Darktown. You'll run into some Street Thugs, so be ready to fight them off.

Once they're dealt with, talk to Emeric. After that, loot the crate nearby. Then, check the east side of the area for a pile of bones, and you'll find another one to the north.

Now, fast forward to night and head to Lowtown, specifically the Foundry District. You'll need to go into the Dark Foundry.

Inside the Dark Foundry, brace yourself for a fight against a Desire Demon, along with plenty of Shades and Abominations.

After you've cleared out the enemies, head upstairs and go into the southern room. Be careful, there's a trap - standard that you'll need to disarm.

Right in front of the trap, you'll find a chest - standard. Open it up. Then, head to the northern end of the room to find a sack of bones. This sack contains Design: Rune of Fire and Ninette’s Ring. Don't miss those!

Finally, continue west to the room at the very end. You'll find another crate in there. After looting it, backtrack to the northeast corner of the building to wrap up this part of the quest.

Tips

Keep an eye on your surroundings; these optional quests often hide useful items in plain sight.
The Desire Demon fight can be tough, so make sure your party is ready for a magical onslaught.
Don't forget to loot everything! Those sacks and crates can contain valuable crafting materials or unique items like Ninette's Ring.
