Ammo Pickup Amounts by Skill Level

Pistol/Chaingun Ammo

• Clip: Gives you 20 bullets on Skill 1 (that's 'I'm Too Young To Die'), but only 10 on harder skills. If you snag one from a fallen Zombieman, it's 10 on Skill 1 and just 5 on harder levels.
• Box of Bullets: This one's more generous, giving you 100 bullets on Skill 1 and 50 on harder difficulties.

Shotgun/Super Shotgun Ammo

• Shotgun Shells: You'll get 8 shells on Skill 1, and 4 on harder settings.
• Box of Shells: A much better find, this gives you 40 shells on Skill 1 and 20 on harder difficulties.

Rocket Launcher Ammo

• Rocket: A single rocket pickup gives you 2 rockets on Skill 1, but only 1 on harder levels.

Plasma Gun/BFG Ammo

• Energy Cell: Expect 40 cells on Skill 1, and 20 on harder skills.
