Clear the central island: Start with 3 Imps and 2 Mistresses. Dig to the central corridor and claim four empty rooms. Build a 1-tile Treasure room (50 Gold) and two 1-tile Lairs (2x 100 Gold) for a total of 250 Gold. Keep creatures in the Lairs. Dig from the Dungeon Heart towards a wooden doorway. Use a Mistress to possess and break down the door. In the room beyond, defeat the 3 level 5 heroes, collect gold, and heal your Mistress. Navigate through doors, preferring paths marked with '=' to avoid Boulder Traps. Collect the free Imp(5) in the NE corridor. Use Mistresses' Lightning attack from a distance to defeat heroes. Once the Hatchery is available, use chickens for healing. Utilize Poisonous Gas traps to damage enemies. After clearing weak heroes, assign Mistresses to the Library for research, focusing on the Guard Post and training to reach level 7 for increased speed.

Expand beyond the lava pool: The island is surrounded by lava, requiring bridges to access gold. Bridge tiles are not researchable but one is connected to your dungeon on the west side, in line with the Dungeon Heart. Fortify this area.
