Upper Route Walkthrough (7)

Send three submarines due east along the bottom of the map.

Land units on the shore to the north from the transport as soon as it appears.

Deploy the construction yard and begin building your base. Focus on harvesting ore on the west side of the landmass.

When submarines reach a narrow spot (three spaces between land and the southern map edge), stop and line them up vertically to block the route. This will stop Allied cruisers that appear throughout the mission. Destroy them or let them pile up.

Position some submarines in the bottom-left corner to intercept Allied boats and a cruiser that appear there.

Build a Tesla Coil on the east side of your base to defend against light tanks dropped from transports.

Transports may also land units on the north side of your base and in the north-western ore field. Keep Mammoth tanks at these locations.

Before assaulting the main Allied base, build submarines and a few airfields.

Clear boats in the waters between your landmass and the Allied landmass, as well as along the top of the map, to protect transports and tanks.

To deal with Allied boats and a cruiser east of your base that threaten harvesters and bridges, build four MIGs and two Yaks. Use the MIGs to destroy these boats.

Reveal the small beach on the southern edge of the Allied landmass directly above your base.

Use MIGs and Yaks to eliminate infantry and vehicles in the beach area.

Once anti-aircraft threats are gone, use Yaks to force-fire on the ground north of the beach (hold Ctrl and click) to detonate mines.

When the water is clear and the beach is safe, send ten or so Mammoth tanks via transports to the Allied landmass.

Handle any attacking choppers with Mammoth tanks.

The bridge to your north will detonate as you approach. Turn west and follow the path around to the Allied base.

Clear mines on the path using Yaks or by force-firing with Mammoths.

Obliterate the Allied base.

If the mission doesn't end, comb the map for surviving boats or hidden pillboxes.
