Walkthrough for Command & Conquer: Red Alert's Lower Route mission. Guide includes steps for defeating Soviet soldiers, destroying a truck for credits, and clearing out enemy bases.
Walkthrough
- 1Start with Tanya. Eliminate the Soviet soldiers attacking from below.
- 2Move south to the cluster of civilian buildings. Approach the red truck but do not shoot it yet.
- 3An Allied medic will emerge from a nearby building. Move him to a safe distance from the barrels.
- 4Eliminate the two soldiers near the buildings and barrels.
- 5Position Tanya south of the barrels. Shoot the truck once to make it move, then shoot the barrels to destroy it as it attempts to escape. Collect the crate containing 2000 credits.
- 6Take Tanya and the medic east, eliminating scattered soldiers in the trees.
- 7Engage and eliminate the two soldiers outside the church, but leave the jeep untouched.
- 8Head north up the path. Eliminate the soldier inside the small base on your left.
- 9The remaining soldiers will likely move towards the barracks. Shoot the barrels at the top of the base to destroy them.
- 10The jeep you bypassed will move north and block three Heavy Tanks behind sandbags.
- 11Run up the right side of the path and shoot the barrels near the Heavy Tanks.
- 12Proceed north and then left past the sandbags. Skip the bridge ahead.
- 13After crossing the next bridge, head left. Eliminate the soldiers and use the barrels near the barracks to destroy it.
- 14Shoot the barrels near the two bridges above your current position to destroy them. You may need to detonate the southern bridge manually even after the barrels explode.
- 15Backtrack down the first bridge near the civilian buildings and detonate it.
- 16Work your way back to the last bridge and destroy it to complete the mission.
Tips
- Use the barrels strategically to destroy groups of enemies and structures efficiently.
- Keep the medic away from explosive barrels to prevent accidental casualties.
- The jeep's movement is scripted to block the Heavy Tanks, allowing you to bypass them safely.
