Easy/Normal/Hard

Learn about difficulty settings in Command & Conquer: Red Alert, including cost reductions on easy mode and increased aggression on hard mode.

Difficulty Settings:

• Easy Mode: All structures you build cost approximately ten percent less than usual. If playing as Russia, this discount can stack with their inherent ten percent reduction, making things approximately twenty percent cheaper overall.
• Normal Mode: No change in costs compared to standard play.
• Hard Mode: No change in costs compared to standard play. However, the game moves much faster, and the computers are significantly more aggressive. On maximum speed settings, a skirmish map can be lost to a single computer in a matter of seconds.
