Lonely Old Dear

Alright, let's talk about the Lonely Old Dear. This is one of those little NPC quests that can be a bit tricky, and your choices really matter here. You'll encounter her early on, and you have a couple of main options for where to send her.

Option 1: Send her to Oedon Chapel

If you choose to send her to Oedon Chapel, here's what you need to know. First, you'll need to progress quite a bit. Make your way through the Forbidden Woods until you reach the second half of the area. Once you're there, head back to Oedon Chapel. When you speak with her, keep selecting the dialogue option "I have my share of woes." Do this a few times, and she'll eventually give you Sedatives x6. If you keep talking to her after this, she'll mention going out to find more Sedatives herself, leaving a note behind. She'll return later, and you can speak with her again for another Sedative. If you select "I have my share of woes" once more, she'll head out again, but this time she'll die just outside the chapel. You can then find her body nearby and pick up an additional Sedative.

Option 2: Send her to Iosefka's Clinic

Alternatively, you can send her to Iosefka's Clinic. If you do this, you can return to Iosefka and receive Numbing Mist x2 from her. However, be warned: eventually, Iosefka herself will transform into one of the horrifying enemies from her experiments. When this happens, you can find the Lonely Old Dear's body near Iosefka's Clinic, and she'll drop 118 Blood Echoes and a Sedative.
