Tomi's G3 Sentinel is not missing any significant skills, as her unlockable Anti-Air Bombardment is considered worthless. She possesses both area attacks and a method to upgrade her Railgun, along with solid pilot skills, solidifying her position as the top G3 pilot. One of her unique armaments provides one of the best area attacks in the game, which, when combined with the Super Large Missile, offers a versatile toolkit for handling waves with numerous kaiju.

Unique Armaments

Hyper Condenser (G3)

This armament doubles the Heavy Railgun shots for an additional 100 EP (Energy Points). This upgrade allows the Railgun to eliminate even armored enhanced medium kaiju, making it essential if you wish to maintain that capability. While the increased cost is not ideal, firing a double Railgun to defeat enemies and regain EP is more efficient than firing a single Railgun, failing to eliminate targets, not restoring EP, and then waiting 5 seconds. It is not a mandatory purchase, as other Sentinels can handle armored medium kaiju, allowing Tomi to focus on area attacks.

Super Long Range Missiles

This armament is an enhanced version of Long Range Missiles, offering increased range, a larger area of effect, double damage, and double EP cost. The original Long Range Missiles lacked sufficient damage to effectively target all enemies, but the Super version addresses this by providing a powerful area attack that closely mimics the Super Large Missile, but with lower EP cost and less time investment. This armament is highly recommended.

High Performance Charger (G3)

This armament unlocks from the Anti-Ground Hunter Missile, which is described as expensive and useless. While Tomi may engage in defense more than Nenji, it is still not a significant amount, and proper EP management suggests charging your G3s through combat eliminations. The prerequisite of a poor armament makes this a functionally expensive upgrade for a rarely utilized function.

Think We’ll Go Viral?

This skill provides stat increases as long as either Fuyusaka or Yakushiji is included in the strike team. Pair skills are generally beneficial due to easily met conditions and good bonuses, and this skill is advantageous as it works with more than one other person and is available early in her skill set.

It’s Not Like That

This skill grants a WT (Wave Time) speed increase when Ogata is on the team. It offers a good bonus, has an easy-to-meet condition, and Ogata is a strong unit, making this a great skill.

Get Lost!

This skill increases damage when attacking from a long distance. As this is the intended role for all G3 Sentinels, it is considered a very solid pilot skill.

You’re So Reckless

This skill raises damage against kaiju that are near Ogata. However, most kaiju in Ogata's vicinity are eliminated quickly, making this skill's effect infrequent.

For My Parents

This skill is identical in function to Hijiyama’s Patriot skill.

Fight Song

This skill restores a small amount of EP for all allies when Tomi defends. While not a bad skill, proper ability usage means Tomi will not be defending frequently.

Tomi’s Defensive Armament

Long-Range Missiles targets distant kaiju and launches three missiles. Each missile has just enough power to eliminate small kaiju, though some may require multiple hits. The area of effect is adequate. If Tomi targets a cluster of small kaiju, she will eliminate some, which is acceptable. However, if a wave contains many such clusters, it would be more beneficial to have her on the strike team.
