Explore the new monsters in Titan Quest 2's Egypt, including Bone Scarabs, Colossal Scorpions, and the dangerous Dark Obelisk.

Walkthrough:

  1. Bone Scarab: These insectoids are small, fast beetles with low damage and health. They can become problematic in later difficulties due to their numbers allowing them to surround you.
  2. Colossal Scorpion: These large insectoids have higher health but are slow due to their size, allowing for ranged attacks before they get close.
  3. Crypt Worms: These maggot-like creatures come in two types. The large type has a slow bite attack with decent damage, while the small type has a fast, deadly ranged poison attack and limited short-range attacks.
  4. Dark Obelisk: This is a spawning device that looks like a small pillar. It spawns Hideous Plasma. Destroying the Obelisk destroys all monsters it spawned. It is best to destroy the Obelisk rather than the spawned monsters, though this can be difficult in later difficulties.
  5. Desert Crones: These beasts are similar to harpies. The Sandwing is a variant, but the difference is hard to discern.
  6. Desert Hag: Another variant of the Sandwing/Desert Crone, indistinguishable from them.
  7. Desert Witch: These beasts are like Desert Crones but possess magical powers. They are usually found amidst a few Desert Crones and Sandwings.
  8. Desiccated Dead: These slow, mummy-like undead do not cause as many problems as skeletons.
  9. Diseased Vultures: These are the carrion crows of the desert.
  10. Dune Raiders: These fast demons have mounted and trapper types, making them dangerous. The common soldier type has a fast spin attack that can do some damage.
  11. Embalmed Dead: Another type of slow, mummy-like Desiccated Dead that should not be a problem.
  12. Gruesome Bone Scarab: These are large beetles that can do a bit of damage. They usually appear individually amidst groups of smaller Bone Scarabs.
  13. Hideous Plasma: These are fast, high-health undead glowing skeletons spawned by Dark Obelisks. They have physical and magical attacks. It is best to ignore them and focus on the Dark Obelisk. In harder difficulties, you can lure them away, destroy them, and return to attack the Obelisk, repeating until it is destroyed.
  14. Hyena Beasts: These fast beasts have a bite attack that can do high damage.
  15. Jackalman: These beastmen are fast but easy to kill.
  16. Poisonous Scorpions: These insectoids have a melee poison attack, average health, and average speed.
  17. Reptilians: These large lizards are not very fast, but Centurions or above have high health and strong magic, poison, and burn attacks. They have high defense and strong melee attacks, making them difficult for melee characters. Magic users are also a challenge. The large Centurions drop armor with high defense ratings suitable for non-fighter characters, requiring high intelligence.
  18. Sandwings: These beasts are equivalent to lower-level harpies and have a 360-degree vertical flip attack that can do high damage.
  19. Salivating Hyena Beast: This appears to be a normal Hyena Beast, observed amidst Dune Raiders and Hyena Beasts.
  20. Shade: These fast, ghost-like undead can surround you quickly. Magic user types exist, and when mixed, they can be a significant problem. They have low health and can be killed easily.
  21. Shadow Stalkers: These fast demons have fast attacks but average health. Their attacks deal significant damage. They can enter a
