Cascade

Cascade is an active skill that enhances your Life Drain. It causes your Life Drain to arc from your target to other nearby enemies. It's not something you'd build your entire character around, but it's a fantastic passive bonus that makes your Life Drain much more effective, especially when you're surrounded.

Vitality damage is often underestimated because not many enemies have resistances to it, making Cascade a solid choice for general survivability.

Dark Covenant

Dark Covenant is another active skill that gives you a boost to Energy regeneration. The catch? It drains your health over time. It has a radius of 15 meters and costs you 18 health per second at its base level.

Honestly, this skill isn't usually considered worth the investment. As a magic user, you'll likely be prioritizing high energy regeneration anyway. Plus, you can always stock up on energy potions. Most players tend to skip this one.

Summon Liche King

This is your big pet skill for the Spirit mastery! Summon Liche King lets you summon the spirit of an undead mage to fight alongside you. The Liche King has two main attacks: Spectral Bolt and Soul Blight.

At level 1, the Spectral Bolt has 15% of attack damage converted to health. By level 5, it improves to 33% attack damage converted to health, and it also gains the ability to reduce enemy resistances for 8 seconds within a 6-meter radius. This makes your Liche King not just a damage dealer, but also a great support for your own attacks.

The Liche King is your Spirit pet, and while it can be a bit of a mixed bag, investing a few points is generally a good idea. Don't forget to also boost its enhancements!

Spirit Bane

Spirit Bane is an active skill that modifies Spirit Ward. It grants nearby allies extra damage specifically against undead enemies. It costs 1 energy per second to maintain.

If you're finding yourself having trouble with undead enemies, especially skeletons, this skill is a lifesaver. If you can stack additional undead damage bonuses from relics or charms, you'll be tearing through them in no time!
