Another Country Inn

Complete Another Country Inn in The Witcher. Get the Celina Sex Card, start 5 contracts, and talk to Dandelion.

Return to the road leading to the Lakeside and follow it south. When it forks to the south-west, take the fork to reach the local Inn. Outside you’ll see Julian and Celina arguing. When Julian walks off, approach Celina and she’ll initiate dialogue. Ask about the wedding, and she’ll offer herself to you if you provide a ring capable of one-upping her sister’s. Any ring will do. Hand over the ring and you’ll get the "Celina" Sex Card.

Before you head into the inn, examine the Notice Board outside to start the quests "The Alp Contract", "The Basilisk Contract", "The Devourer Contract", "The Giant Centipede Contract", and "The Royal Wyvern Contract". Turning in five Alp Fangs to Tobias Hoffman yields 5000 XP and 250 Orens. Turning in three Basilisk Hides to Julian yields 5000 XP and 250 Orens. Turning in four Citinous Carapaces to the Elven Craftsman yields 5000 XP and 250 Orens. Turning in ten Devourer Teeth to Abigail/the Healer yields 5000 XP and 150 Orens. Turning in three Wyvern Eggs to the Innkeeper yields 5000 XP and 250 Orens.

Enter the inn and Dandelion will give you a letter from your lover (either Triss or Shani) and a Dimeritium Amulet for Alvin. Chat with Dandelion, and answer his questions about the turmoil in Vizima. Your answers update the quest "Identity".

If you’ve defeated four Professional poker players, you can ask about the country to prompt a poker match. If you beat him, you’ll get progress towards becoming a Sharper. Defeating three Sharpers yields 400 XP. Becoming a Sharper yields 1500 XP.

If you leave the Country Inn and return, you can talk to Dandelion again to get his help composing a letter to Triss/Shani. Ask him how to send it, and he’ll suggest speaking to the Fisher King.

Talk to the female Innkeeper and she’ll tell you about the sunken city, Tobias Hoffman, the vodyanoi, and the village’s prize-winning cow. You can store stuff by talking to the male Innkeeper. Resting costs seven Orens with the male Innkeeper and five with the female Innkeeper.

You can fight Professional Fist Fighters for 100 Orens per match. You can fight one Professional Fist Fighter, two Tough Fist Fighters, and one Fist Fighter for a total of 220 Orens.

The quest fighter is The Rock, who requires a wager of 500 Orens to box. After defeating him, he’ll tell you that one more fight awaits in the Swamp Cemetery against a "nameless one".
