Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving, kill the Drowners near the docks and the trophy monster Coccacidium.
- 2Talk to the Ferryman, who mentions Yaren Bolt has a job.
- 3Speak with Jean-Pierre, a bounty hunter, who tells you about Leo Bonhart.
- 4Optionally, use Igni on the Fireplace to rest until night and kill Drowners for Leuvaarden.
- 5Return to Leuvaarden to report your success for 500 XP (killing Drowners) and 2000 XP, 400 Orens (reporting).
- 6Head northwest to find the unique Archespore named Coccacidium. Use the Igni Sign and the Strong Silver Style to defeat it. Bring its head to Vincent Meis for 3000 XP and 400 Orens.
- 7Near the Docks, talk to an old man named Gramps and accept his request to escort him to the shrine.
- 8To maximize dialogue and experience, take Gramps to the following locations: the Clay Pits, Three Islands (near the Oth Obelisk), the Swamp Cave, the Druid Grove, and the Mage’s Tower.
- 9Gramps will provide information about Vodyanoi, Brickmakers, Vran warriors, Places of Power, rituals, Sentry Golems, Sephirot, and Obelisks.
- 10After visiting the locations, escort Gramps safely to the Shrine of Melitele.
- 11Rewards for escorting Gramps: 200 XP for each of the five locations visited, and 1500 XP for reaching the Shrine of Melitele.
- 12Backtrack to the Docks and head to the Brickmaker’s Village. Talk to everyone, including the “Old Brickmaker” for a rundown of the Swamp.
- 13Collect ten Drowned Dead Tongues. Giving them to Siegfried yields 500 XP (collecting) and 2000 XP, 150 Orens (giving).
