Journey Into Smoke

Start the Quest: First things first, head to Terra 2 and make your way to the Roseway area. Look for Lillian, who's usually standing guard near the Covert Lab. Chat with her to get the quest. If you're feeling persuasive, you can try a [Persuade 45] check if she's a bit suspicious of you, but she'll eventually ask you to find her cigarette lighter that she lost in all the commotion.

Backtrack and Fight Marauders: After talking to Lillian, you'll need to backtrack a bit. Head back north towards the fork in the road you likely passed earlier. From there, take the eastern path that leads towards the main entrance of the Covert Lab – you can't miss the giant 'Secret Lab' sign. Before you get there, keep an eye out to your left (east). You'll spot a dirt road heading downhill. Follow it; you'll run into a group of marauders guarding some crates. Take them out.

Explore the Highlands: Once the marauders are dealt with, turn south and head uphill into the rocky highlands. You're looking for a building on your left (east). The door is locked, so you'll need a [Lockpick 25] skill to get inside. If you manage to pick the lock, you'll find some decent loot, a workbench, a vending machine, and a terminal. This terminal has some interesting info, listing names of characters involved in 'The Doom that Came to Roseway' quest, which might be useful later.

Deal with the Raptors: Now, head back towards the main Covert Lab entrance area. You'll notice a nearby raptidon pen. Unfortunately, it seems the security wasn't quite up to snuff. You'll need to clear out the raptidons. The good news is you can often get the high ground and pick them off from above, making it a bit easier.

Find the Lighter: After you've dealt with the raptidons, search the pen carefully. You should find Lillian's cigarette case in there. Grab it!

Return to Lillian: With the lighter in hand, head back to Lillian. She's still near the Covert Lab entrance. Hand over the lighter to complete the quest.
