Master the Skeldritch boss fight in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Learn strategies for each phase, including using the Sand Wand, Arrows, and Boomerang to defeat this ancient demon.

BOSS: Skeldritch, Ancient Demon

Skeldritch is a giant skull on a tower of armored bones. It attacks by throwing boulders and using a piercing laser. You will need to use the Sand Wand to stop boulders and place them on catapults to damage Skeldritch.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Skeldritch is vulnerable to boulders flung by catapults.
• Its weak spot changes location throughout the fight.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Skeldritch's weak spot is in the front. Stop a boulder with the Sand Wand, place it on a catapult, and move away. When the catapult is lined up, hit the switch to launch the boulder at Skeldritch, breaking a section. Skeldritch throws two boulders this time.
2. Phase 2: Skeldritch's weak spot is on its right side, with armor covering the rest. Skeldritch always faces you. Stop a boulder, place it on a catapult, and move until the boarded catapult is on Skeldritch's right. Shoot the switch with an Arrow to launch the boulder. Skeldritch throws three boulders this time.
3. Phase 3: Skeldritch's weak spot is behind it. Stop a boulder, place it on a catapult, and move until it's behind Skeldritch. Hit the switch with the Boomerang to get it around Skeldritch. Skeldritch now fires three super-fast boulders; create a thick sand wall to stop them.
4. Phase 4: Skeldritch's weak spot is on its left. Use the same strategy as Phase 3 (Boomerang and all). Skeldritch fires four super-fast boulders, so be cautious.
5. Phase 5: Only the skull remains, and its helmet has fallen off, revealing its vulnerable head. Skeldritch will now chase you relentlessly. Use the Sand Wand to create a sand wall in front of it to stop it momentarily. Quickly get behind it, raise yourself, and perform a series of slashes. Repeat this until defeated.

Strategy:

• Constantly roll to avoid the laser attack, but don't get dizzy.
• Use the Sand Wand to create a big barrier of sand to stop boulders.
• When two boulders collide, they disintegrate, so avoid this.
• Be aware of when Skeldritch summons new boulders.
• For later phases, use the Boomerang to hit switches when the catapult is behind Skeldritch.
• For super-fast boulder attacks, create an extremely thick wall of sand.
• In the final phase, use the Sand Wand to create a wall, then get behind Skeldritch for slashes.
