Learn how to defeat the Pokey enemy in Super Mario World, including its segment variations when playing as Mario or Yoshi.

How to Defeat:

If you are playing as Mario, Pokeys will have three segments, allowing you to jump over them. You can remove segments by throwing blocks or shells, but it is generally easier to just avoid and jump over the Pokey. If you are riding Yoshi, the Pokey will have five segments and cannot be jumped over. In this case, you must eat the Pokey one segment at a time.

Variations:

• As Mario: Pokey has three segments.
• Riding Yoshi: Pokey has five segments.
