SECRET EXIT - Unlocks 'Green Switch Palace'
- Play the level until you reach the section with only vertically rising yellow rock columns.
- When you reach the second green pipe coming from the ceiling, enter it.
- In the new area where the screen does not move, hit the block and go right.
- Avoid or defeat the charging Chuck (watch out for its footballs) and proceed to the yellow blocks.
- Go right and use a spin jump (a jump performed while spinning) to smash the blocks containing a blue Koopa Shell (a turtle shell that can be kicked).
- Pick up the blue Koopa Shell and throw it upwards at the furthest block to the right of the blocks on the left.
- This action will cause a vine to appear from that block.
- Climb the blocks, ascend the vine, pick up the key, and run into the keyhole to activate the secret exit.
Tips
- Collect as many coins as possible at the start of the level.
- Be aware of the auto-scrolling camera and time your movements accordingly.
- Do not wait too long when the yellow rock appears, or you will be crushed.
- The secret exit requires precise timing and the use of a blue Koopa Shell.
