1-Up Mushroom Locations - Outside of the Castle

Mushroom 1: Underneath the bridge leading to the castle entrance, collect two coins. To reach these coins, you must have drained the water level and then perform wall kicks against the wall. Collecting both coins will cause a 1-Up Mushroom to appear.

Mushroom 2: On the left side of the castle, punch the cluster of butterflies behind the sign that reads "Climbing's Easy!". These butterflies appear under the grass and are not visible when resting, distinguishing them from ordinary butterflies.

Mushroom 3: On the right side of the castle, punch the cluster of butterflies that appear from underneath the grass when you run over them. Similar to the left side, these butterflies are not visible when resting on the grass.

Mushroom 4: On the left side of the castle, climb the tree that is third farthest from the waterfall. This action will cause a 1-Up Mushroom to appear and home toward you.

Mushroom 5: After obtaining 120 stars, use the cannon to shoot yourself onto the top of the castle. Three 1-Up Mushrooms are located next to each other; grab one.

Mushroom 6: After obtaining 120 stars, use the cannon to shoot yourself onto the top of the castle. .

Mushroom 7: After obtaining 120 stars, use the cannon to shoot yourself onto the top of the castle. .
