Follow this guide to find all 13 Hermit Crabs in Part 43 of Sonic Heroes. Includes walkthrough for Ocean Palace, Grand Metropolis, and Power Plant missions.
- 1Near the moving ruins, head forward. Jump on the first block on your left to get a Hermit Crab.
- 2Make your way up to the big block on the right (on the third pillar). Smash it and grab the Hermit Crab underneath.
- 3Switch to Charmy and jump in the cannon to be shot to another Hermit Crab.
- 4Jump to the platform on your right that has a wooden container. Break it for another Hermit Crab.
- 5Fly to the next platform and head forward. Jump to the center platform in the beach and push the big block south using Vector to reveal another Hermit Crab.
- 6Switch to Charmy and fly up the ruins. At the top, grab the Hermit Crab and head up the wall.
- 7Hit the checkpoint, switch to Charmy, and fly up to the ledge on your left. Make your way over to the wooden container. Inside is a Hermit Crab.
- 8Drop off the ledge, head down the path, smashing the blocks. When you get to the beach with the cannon, switch to Vector and enter the cannon. Aim to the left and blast yourself over there.
- 9A Hermit Crab is inside one of the blocks.
- 10Head back to the cannon and enter as Charmy or Espio. Follow the path until you reach a platform with rings. Some ruins rise when you get close, making a path. Follow this path and hit the dash ramp at the end.
- 11Touch the checkpoint and open the flower using Charmy. Jump in to warp to an area with a Hermit Crab.
- 12Fly up to the ledge and then jump onto the pillar. Fly up to the next area. Follow the path until you reach dash hoops with ruins under them. Switch to Charmy and fly into the dash hoop, which sends you through two more dash hoops.
- 13Grab the invincibility and head down the path. Smash the blocks with Vector and fly up the ledge with Charmy. Push the block down to reveal a Hermit Crab.
- 14Backtrack to the dash hoops and drop down near the beach. In a grassy area behind you, there's a block. Push it left to reveal a Hermit Crab.
- 15Drop down and push the block on the right for another Hermit Crab.
- 16Use Charmy to cross the sea and head onto the second beach. On the first half of this beach is another Hermit Crab wandering around.
- 17Head near the end. Fly up to the top of the pillars and hop to the last one, which has a Hermit Crab on it.
- 18Jump into the cannon as Espio and hit all the springs. Run down the hill and hit the dash ramp at the end. Go through the rainbow rings and head straight to grab the final Hermit Crab.
Level 2: Ocean Palace
Mission Bio: "Rescue Chao without being detected by the enemies!"
Use Espio's leaf swirl attack to become invisible. Defeat all enemies while invisible. If an enemy spots you, you fail the mission. When you reach the area with the Chao, there will be many enemies guarding the cage. Take out all enemies except the sleeping one with the shield, as Espio cannot defeat him. Head to the back of the cage and smash it with Vector to grab the Chao without being detected.
Level 3: Grand Metropolis
Mission Bio: "Clear out the enemies within 8 minutes!"
Follow the main guide at a good speed. Use homing attacks to defeat enemies efficiently. Vector's level three move can also take out many enemies at once. Use Team Blasts for groups of at least four enemies or for small groups in hard-to-reach places. Following this strategy will ensure you get the emblem.
Level 4: Power Plant
