Walkthrough

    Touch the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death). Use bubble blow to ascend the fans.

    At the fan with the switch, touch it and float left to a platform.

    Break the two [CAPSULES] on the platform.

    Continue floating across fans into a small cave.

    Break the [CAPSULE] in the cave and hit the spring.

    Head across the platform, break the duct, and fall into the high-speed transport tunnel.

BOSS: Egg Albatross

Walkthrough

    Attack the cannons on the wings (start with the left).

    Once both wing cannons are down, attack the wing itself using rapid homing attacks to stay airborne.

    After destroying the wing, focus on the propeller, using multiple homing attacks in the air.
  4. 4
    Destroy the propeller, then attack the middle body of the Egg Albatross.
  5. 5
    Once the middle body is destroyed, Eggman will retreat.

Level 9: Frog Forest

A Rank Points Needed: 40,000

Mission Bio: "Get though the forest without being detected by the frogs!"

Walkthrough:

  1. Head forward and hit the giant fruit to bounce to the next ledge.
  2. Switch to Vector and defeat the turtle.
  3. Switch to Espio and head through the loops.
  4. At the dash ramp, take the alternate path of flying platforms to the right to avoid the frog.
  5. Hit the fruit to bounce to the yellow platforms.
  6. Climb/fly until you reach ivy that acts as a rail.
  7. Grind down the ivy to the bottom, grabbing onto more ivy.
  8. Use the ivy rope to swing across gaps; at its highest point, press A to leap to the next ivy rope. Repeat until sent to the next platform.
  9. Destroy the cage and grab the Special Stage Key.
  10. Hit the checkpoint.
  11. Fly through the dash hoop using Charmy.
  12. Collect all rings and jump to the next green platform with two enemies.
  13. Defeat the enemies.
  14. To get the capsule guarded by a frog, switch to Charmy, aim at the capsule, and use thunder shoot. This grants an extra 1-Up.
