Walkthrough
- 1Chao #4: From the start, head right. Avoid the spikes near the spider badnik. Jump down just right of the spikes, bypassing the pendulum. You'll fall a long way, gravity will reverse, and you'll pass through a floor. Jump up to the right to find the Chao before gravity reverses again, sending you back down near the pendulums.
- 2Chao #5: Position yourself below the pendulums. Jump into the hole to the right with three rings. You'll go through another floor with reversed gravity. From your new position, jump right and hit the spring on what is now the floor. You'll run up a wall, and gravity will revert to normal. Head for the high gap in the right wall containing a blue caterpillar badnik. You can enter it after running up the wall or use the white spring below to return. Continue right to a gap with a track. Jump over it to the next platform and grab the 10 Ring Item box. Jump down from there and you will die. Instead, get on the tracked platform to the right. It will take you up the gap you just jumped over. At the end of the ride, jump left towards the rings. Keep going left; gravity will reverse near the left wall. Hit the spring and run right on the ceiling. Gravity reverses again, and you'll fall. Avoid the clam badnik, hit the spring on the right wall, and go right. Jump over the small curve and keep running right. You'll eventually land on a rail; grind it. Off the rail, a spring will bounce you onto a wheel. Be careful not to fall. Jump from the top of this wheel to the left, aiming for another wheel. From the top of the second wheel, jump right to a white trampoline spring on a platform. Use it to bounce up through the floor. Ignore the arrows pointing left; go right up the slope. Avoid the spring on the slope. Instead, get on the circular platform above it. Jump right when the platform is at its highest point. (For a 5 Ring Item Box, jump to it when it appears to the left of this platform.) You'll reach a checkpoint. Spin-dash or run up the small curve to its right. You'll see a gap to the right with three rings. Jump down into it; gravity reverses. Jump right and try to hit the Chao on the way up before passing through the floor again.
- 3Chao #6: From where you emerge through the floor, jump over the gap to your right (it's a long jump with spikes on the next ledge). Go right, hitting springs that send you in various directions. You'll stop at spikes facing left. Jump down to the left of these spikes to land on a checkpoint. Go right to a speed booster next to spikes. To the right of the spikes is a Magnet Shield; grab it if desired, then hit the speed booster. It will launch you left, then up, and a spring will send you right. You'll land near a hole with a machine that spits you out at the bottom and a caterpillar badnik. Jump over this hole to find Omochao; ignore his advice about Tag Action. You can climb or fly up the right wall to get a 1-up, but avoid going too high where the poles are. Instead, enter the hole and the machine, choosing the left path. You'll be ejected next to a trampoline spring and the Chao. (Hint: Jump up and either right or preferably left from the spring. Going elsewhere from here is fatal.)
- 4Chao #7: From the beginning, head right. After a small curve, watch out for a clam badnik and hit the speed booster. Descend a slope and be launched into the air. Land below. (If in Boost Mode, you can reach a high platform to the left, a safer route. Jump over the caterpillar badnik's hole, spin up the right curve, and you'll be near the spider badnik mentioned earlier, but this is optional.) Go right and hit the spring on the platform's end, bouncing onto a wheel. Jump from the wheel to the upper right to land on another wheel. Be careful, as missing means death. Tips
- For Zone 6 Act 3, Sonic as leader is recommended to unlock Cream the Rabbit. The first part of the act is easy and contains all three Chao, but the difficulty significantly increases afterward.
- Teams with Boost Mode and Flight or Tag Action High Jump capabilities are beneficial. Sonic/Tails is a highly recommended team.
- When collecting Chao #6, avoid the poles high up on the right wall.
- For Chao #7, if you miss the jump from the first wheel to the second, you will die.
- When collecting Chao #5, if you miss the jump from the second wheel to the right, you will die.
- When collecting Chao #6, if you go anywhere other than right or left from the trampoline spring, you will die.
