    Chao #8: Head left, use a spring to go up. You will see a 10 Ring Item Box and the Chao. Jump down to the left and run right. Curl into a ball to be launched into the air, avoiding a purple badnik. At the end of the platform, jump right to hit a purple badnik, then a handle and chain or a spring. The chain leads to a spring that sends you through a loop-de-loop to a see-saw. Use it to go higher, then another see-saw. Hit a pole on the wall to bounce higher, watch out for a plane. Use another see-saw, then a pole on the wall. Higher up, watch for a moving block; run under it when safe and hit the speed booster. Grind a rail, pass a checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death), go through a loop-de-loop, and be bounced by a spring to the right. Land on a handle and chain, go right avoiding a bug. A spring sends you left and down. Run off the edge to spinning handles. Jump left to a rail heading left. At the rail's end, a platform falls; quickly jump to the handle above to avoid falling. Go left avoiding a blue bug, through a corkscrew. Jump through a rail instead of grinding it. Below, against the left wall, find 6 rings. To the right is a spring; jump into the hole to its right. Grind a rail, jump through it, heading right while falling. Under the right part of the rail, find a ledge speed booster. Land on it when jumping through the rail and use it to run up the wall to your right. Jump down right of spikes, avoiding jumping too far right, and get your plane on the way down. Land on a red switch, press it, and head right. You will hit a spring, go into a wall, and fall onto a rail. Grind the rail, then run into the Chao. If you fall further down, keep going to a checkpoint, then head left to still find the Chao.

    Chao #9: Go right past the checkpoint. Hit a spring, go through a loop-de-loop, and be launched by a ramp right. Go through another loop-de-loop, hit a spring, and end up in a corkscrew. Jump just after the corkscrew before falling into the gap to catch spinning handles. Jump off the handles onto a handle and chain above; the Chao is on a small ledge to the right.

    Chao #10: Go left past where the Final Boss is located. The Chao is near a spring pointing left at the end of a platform. A faster way is to use a tag team ability for higher flight or use flight just past the Act 2 Ring and land on the platform to the right with the spring.

    Zone 2 Act 1 Chao #1: Go right from the beginning. Jump on the giant platform above the stairs for 6 rings. Go around the loop-de-loop, and be launched or hit a spring to an area with an Omochao and a frog. Jump left to land on the loop-de-loop you just went around. There is a switch that activates a spring, sending you right to a platform with a green bouncy thing. This bounces you left to another green bounce, which sends you right to a platform with a rock at the right end and a moving platform above. Break the rock to find the Chao.

    Zone 2 Act 1 Chao #2: Get on the moving platform and go up and right, watching out for a hornet. Jump for the three rings near the sign with the red arrow to cross a hole. (Going down the hole leads to a 10 Ring Item Box and a spring to get back up.) Hit the spring, go up and around the loop-de-loop, hit another spring, and land on a small ledge with a Green Shield next to a pole to the right. Get the shield, then hit the pole. Instead of going on other poles further down, jump straight down off the pole; it is less dangerous. Go right and hit the spring, going around a loop-de-loop.
