Defeat bosses like Eggman in Twinkle Snow and Cyber Track in Sonic Advance 3. Learn strategies and hit counts for each boss.

Zone 5: Twinkle Snow Boss

This boss fight takes place on a screen that slowly scrolls upward, with Eggman at the bottom. You must jump on platforms to avoid falling off the screen. Eggman cannot be attacked directly. Each platform falls as soon as you jump off, so time your jumps to land on Eggman when he is below you. Sometimes the machine flips over, releasing a spiky ball; it's best to be jumping to another platform when this occurs. The Tails/Amy team is recommended for their vertical flight time if you miss a platform. It takes 8 hits to defeat this boss.

Tips
  • The platform will not fall until you jump off of it.
  • Avoid gliding or climbing the wall, as these actions are not effective.

Zone 6 Act 3: Cyber Track Miniboss

G-mel has three moves: rushing at you, teleporting and running towards you, or firing missiles while spinning across the screen. The missiles can be avoided by running. To unlock Cream the Rabbit, you must defeat this act and miniboss with Sonic as the leader. However, this act is difficult as Sonic, so consider playing as Cream later for a gold medal. It takes 4 hits to defeat G-mel.

Zone 6: Cyber Track Boss

Eggman is in a cannon moving under the floor, shooting blue balls. Avoid standing on the red and gray platforms for too long as they drop. You can attack the blue balls to turn them orange, which then damage Eggman if they hit him. Be careful, as the orange balls can also hurt you. Hitting the balls into the wall can create a smaller bounce angle for Eggman, but also increases the risk of hitting yourself. Teams that cannot spin-jump, like hammer teams, are not recommended. Sonic as a leader is preferred due to the frequent jumping. Knuckles/Sonic and Sonic/Cream teams can help hit balls into the wall more easily. Gliding with Knuckles can hit balls but is not recommended. The balls increase in speed as the fight progresses. .

Tips
  • Spin jump or use another attack on the blue balls to turn them orange.
  • Be cautious of the orange balls, as they can also damage you.
  • Hitting balls into the wall can be effective but risky.

Zone 7: Chaos Angel Boss

Eggman is on one side of a bridge, protected by electricity, and G-mel is on the other. You must hit G-mel. Switch sides by walking into the tubes on the sides of the battle area. Spikes are at the top and bottom of the screen. After hitting G-mel, he is forced into the spikes, but the bridge shakes, potentially sending you into the spikes. Later, the bridge will shake to intentionally push you into the spikes. After G-mel is hit four times, he will rapidly turn and move back and forth; jump over the machine when it approaches. Chao Attack is excellent for hitting G-mel without being sent into spikes. Throwing Knuckles at G-mel works if they are on the same side but opposite ends of the arena. Avoid flying, gliding, high jumps, and hammers. .

Tips
  • Use Chao Attack for a safe, long-range attack.
  • Avoid actions that make it difficult to escape after hitting G-mel.

Final Zone: Altar Emerald Boss and Ending

This is a two-part boss. The first part is G-mel with his previous moves, plus a new one where he spins and shoots missiles in different directions. Standing directly under him usually avoids these missiles. It takes 4 hits to defeat this part. The second part is more complex and can range in difficulty.
