Practice Scenario Differences:

In the SNES version of SimCity, the Practice scenario requires you to reach a population of 30,000 to succeed. This is a reduction from the NES prototype, which demands a population of 50,000 within 5 years, suggesting the NES version is more challenging in this regard.

Challenge Scenarios Differences:

To unlock the final two Challenge Scenarios in the SNES version of SimCity, you must have completed the first six scenarios and possess a saved game with a population exceeding 100,000. The NES prototype appears to only require the completion of the first six scenarios to unlock these bonus scenarios.
