Safe Combination: A combo is shown: 16814. You should earn the 'Dust to Dust' bronze trophy. Return to the house and use the safe. The note explains a simpler dialing method: Dial 2 to the right moves Dial 3 right and Dial 4 left. Dials 3 and 4 skip numbers when turned, except when Dial 2 is turned.

• Normal Mode: 1. Dial ONE to "1". 2. Dial FIVE to "4". 3. Dial TWO to "6". 4. Dial THREE to an EVEN number, then to "8". 5. Dial FOUR to an ODD number, then to "1".

Hard Mode: 1. Dial TWO to "7". 2. Dial THREE to "1" (may require tinkering with Dial TWO). 3. Dial TWO to "6" (should make TWO a 6 and THREE an 8, turn RIGHT). 4. Dial FIVE to a "5". 5. Dial ONE to a "2". 6. Dial FOUR to a "2". 7. Dial FIVE to a "4" (should make ONE a 1 and FOUR a 1, turn RIGHT).

Colt Reward: Once the safe is open, you will get the [COLT]. This concludes the side quest for the old couple.

Ribbons Side Quest: This quest starts by investigating the "Missing Girl" poster on the northwestern side of the intersection of Cook St. and Lansdale Ave. You will get the objective: OBJECTIVE: Find the missing girl.

Following the Trail: Head north from the poster and stay on the left to find a pole with a lunchbox underneath. Inspect it for the [HUGS AND KISSES] note, which explains the ribbon system: yellow means turn left, red means turn right. You will get a new objective: OBJECTIVE: Follow the girl's trail home.

See a red ribbon; turn right and head north.

Enter the park (yellow ribbon on a post near road obstruction).

Head towards the Centennial Building (UV light shows footprints).

A red ribbon is tied to a pole, but the path is out (Murphy comments). This quest cannot be fully completed until AFTER the Centennial Building.

Go through the park and past the movie theater/south alley to find a red ribbon. Turn right and head north on Brite Street.

Find a yellow ribbon on a right post. Go through the alleyway to the left to bypass a road obstacle.

After the alley, find a yellow ribbon to the right (off path). Head left and stay on the left side to find a red ribbon by stairs.

Go down the stairs, another red ribbon directs you right onto Rice Street.

Stay on the left and past houses, turn left into the dock area.

Head to the northeast corner and down to the docks. Follow the ribbons to find a [KEY] on the ground. Note the dress nearby.

Objective Complete: Find the missing girl. OBJECTIVE COMPLETE: Follow the girl's trail home. New objective: OBJECTIVE: Find the girl's home.

Finding the Home: The girl's home is on Lamon Street, north of the movie theater. Enter the house, go upstairs, and unlock the door with the key.

Inside the Home: Note the locked door on the right. Enter the bedroom on the left. On the bed is the [GOD FORGIVE ME] note, revealing the story.

Objective Complete: Find the girl's home. You should earn the 'Long Walk, Short Pier' bronze trophy.

Reward: The previously locked door off the living room opens. Inside are [FIRST AID KIT] x2. This concludes the quest.

Shadow Play Side Quest: This quest involves trinket items found since leaving the Hillside Apartments and the "Shadow Play" house north of the northern obstruction on Brite Street. If you haven't visited, go now. You will get the objective: OBJECTIVE: Locate the shadow sigils on the map.

Shadow Sigils: Inside the "Shadow Play" house, light the candles on the table with the map to reveal the locations of trinkets in Silent Hill. The goal is to place trinkets in stands and use your FLASHLIGHT and UV LIGHT to finish drawings on the wall near the stands.
