Part 16

After a scene, head towards the door to receive the [PAROLE STATUS] letter.

Past the door, pick up the [CENTENNIAL BUILDING MAP].

Head into the main garage section and note the security room to your left requiring an I.D. card.

Head south to a locked door and examine it to receive the objective: Enter the building via the service elevator.

Explore the open parking lot. Skip the green van as it contains a Screamer with no reward.

Open the passenger seat of the police car to find the [INTERNAL INVESTIGATION] note.

Open the trunk of the police car to find the [FORENSIC FLASHLIGHT]. This flashlight has a UV light function (activated with L3) that can reveal drag marks from the police car to the service elevator. A guard dog is in the backseat.

Examine the brick door to the northwest for a scene.

Find a metal weapon (like a wrench or sledgehammer) and break the lock on the nearby maintenance door.

Pick up the firehose and throw it into the water. Turn on the firetruck pump to drain the water, allowing access downstairs.

Downstairs, find a dead guard and the words "Can't keep my head above water." on the wall, visible with the UV light.

Check the wheelchair for the [SECURITY CARD].

Warning: Run back up the stairs quickly as the water is rising.

Back in the garage, face two Weeping Bat enemies.

Use the Security Card on the door to the security office. Note that the dog in the police car is now dead.

Inside the security room, turn on the radio to hear DJ Rick's secret message.

Open the door to the elevator, watching the monitor to the left.

Explore the room on the left to find a [FIRST AID KIT] in the cabinet. This door leads out near the firetruck.

Make your way to the service elevator to complete the objective: Enter the building via the service elevator.

Press the elevator button, get in, and press the button again to close it. You will arrive on the 1st floor in the storage room.

Grab the axe near the elevator.

Continue down the path and break down a boarded-up passage with the axe.

Slide through some boxes. A Screamer will attack after you get through.

To the right of a door, push a box back to find a small cubby containing a [FIRST AID KIT].

Go through the door into a large library.

Grab a redundant map from a holder on your left.

Check the right room for a photo showing a "Welcome to Shepherd's Glenn" sign (an homage to Silent Hill: Homecoming).

As you walk forward, the upper bridge will fall. Head left.

The game will instruct you to use your UV light to find clues.

Leave the UV light on. Find a book nearby using the UV light.

Head to the left side of the library to a desk.

Warning: A Weeping Bat is ahead, past the desk in the lower aisles. Draw it out and defeat it.

In the path behind where the file was, find some dead body parts and the [PATRICK NAPIER] file.

East of the path to the file, find another book to read to the left of an immovable ladder.

Examine the DOLL north of the desk.

North of the doll, find another book to read on the right-hand bookshelf.
