Silent Hill: Downpour Part 15 walkthrough covering finding paintings, the homeless man's requests, and reaching the Radio Station.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Leave the current building and head up Laymond Ave towards the subway. You can take the alley north to Brite St. or go east and north up Laymond; both paths converge.
  2. 2
On the west side of Laymond Ave, past the Laymond/Brite intersection, find [NAILGUN AMMO] on the east side of the Centennial Building on a porch.
  3. 3
Head east and enter the Pearl Creek 2 subway (the left subway is a dead-end).
  4. 4
Down in the subway, you'll find a stand for a trinket and encounter the HOMELESS MAN (an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) - non-player character).
  5. 5
The Homeless Man wants food. Give him the CANDY BAR. If you don't have it, return to the playground by Cook and Laymond, search the south sidewalk of Cook Street, and buy one. (On HARD puzzle mode, the vending machine is in the alley north of the apartments. On EASY puzzle mode, it's near the southeast corner of the Brite St. and Laymond Ave. intersection).
  6. 6
Completing this objective earns you a map of the subway system, allowing underground travel between Hillside and Pearl Creek without interference and providing shelter from storms and high monster encounter rates.
  7. 7
The Homeless Man then asks for a warm coat, which you cannot fulfill yet.
  8. 8
Past the Homeless Man, find [NAILGUN AMMO] in a locker.
  9. 9
Exit the Pearl Creek subway. To the right, a tipped-over column leads to a shortcut to Lansdale Ave.
  10. 10
In the shortcut, check boxes for the [ENLIGHTENMENT TRINKET]. This trinket fits the barrel in the Pearl Creek subway for the 'Shadow Play' sidequest (which will be addressed in section 14).
  11. 11
North of the subway, scan the ground for the [AARON ASHFIELD] postcard with '827' circled.
  12. 12
Northwest of the subway (south of the postcard location), enter a small alley and find a hole in a garage door leading to a steel gate.
  13. 13
Enter '827' as the password to access the storage area and find the [CERTAINTY PAINTING].
  14. 14
Exit back outside and go to the northwest corner of Laymond Ave. to find a [FIRST AID KIT].
  15. 15
Head west to explore Logan's Park. Take the right path to find a [CHILD'S KITE] on a bench. This kite is a COLLECTABLE (an item that can be viewed in the EXTRA'S menu from the game's main menu).
  16. 16
Proceed to the middle of the park. Take the left path to reach the Centennial Building.
  17. 17
Enter the Centennial Building. A lengthy cutscene (a non-interactive story sequence) will play, revealing more story details, including Murphy's reason for being in jail.
Tips
  • The subway system can be used to escape storms and areas with high monster encounter rates.
  • The Enlightenment Trinket is part of a sidequest that will be revisited later.
  • The Child's Kite is a collectible item.
