First things first, head over to the dwarf chilling just west of White Wolf Mountain. That's the big mountain north of Catherby. Chat him up and convince him you want to be friends. He'll then task you with winning him the trophy at the Hemenster Fishing Competition.

Next, make your way to the Hemenster Fishing Competition. You'll find it southwest of Seers Village. Talk to the guy in charge, pay him 5 coins, and show him your pass. Once you're in, find the Sinister Stranger. Ask him if he's a vampire – he'll give you some silly denial, but trust me, he totally is.

Now, leave the competition area and find Grandpa Jack. Ask him about catching good fish around there. He'll let you in on a secret: red vine worms are the key to catching the really good ones near the sewer pipes. To get these worms, head north and follow the east wooden fence of McGrubor's Woods. On the northern half of the fence, you'll spot a 'fence with loose pantlets'. Push through it – you'll be inside. Head west, and you'll find a red vine. Use your spade on it, and you should dig up some red worms. Grab a couple, just in case you mess up later.

Head back to Hemenster and get into the fishing area. If the guy in charge gives you trouble, just pay another 5 coins. Now, use your garlic on the sewer pipe, and start fishing right next to it. Your goal is to catch a carp. You need to catch three fish in total for the contest to end, and then you'll be rewarded with the trophy.

Finally, bring that shiny trophy back to the Mountain Dwarf. He'll be super happy, and you'll have officially finished the quest! Easy peasy.
