Talk to Caroline, located east of Ardougne near the archway. She'll ask you to check on her husband and son on the fishing platform and mention Holgart can take you there.

Speak with Holgart. He'll agree to take you if you fix his boat's holes with tar paste.

Travel to Draynor Village and head southeast to a swampy area. Pick up one 'swamp tar' near the ponds.

Use flour with the swamp tar to create uncooked swamp paste. Build a fire (or use the one in Barbarian Village) and use the uncooked swamp paste with it to make warm tar paste.

Return to Holgart and board his boat.

Talk to Bailey, who is in the building east of the boat.

Go to the west end of the dock, climb the ladder, and go to the eastern part of the building to talk to Kenneth. He'll explain his father left for help. Return to Holgart.

Talk to Kent on the small island. He'll mention weird sea slugs. Return to Holgart and go back to the mainland.

To get Kenneth, you'll need to get past the fisherman. Talk to Bailey, who will give you a torch. Find broken glass in Bailey's house and damp sticks outside. Combine the damp sticks with the broken glass to create dry sticks, then click them to light your torch.

Climb the ladder next to the boat with your lit torch. Talk to Kenneth, who is afraid of sea slugs. Click the loose panel on the west wall of his room. Talk to Kenneth again. Operate the crane next to the ladder to get Kenneth to jump on.

Return to Holgart, and you'll go back to the mainland. Talk to Caroline for your reward.
