RuneScape guide update history, including version 1.30 adding the Runecrafting skill and Rune Mysteries quest.

Version 1.30: This update added a guide for the new Runecrafting skill, which necessitated the inclusion of the Rune Mysteries quest in the Quest Section. Search codes were added to all sections for easier reading, and various other minor additions and fixes were made.

Version 1.00: The Enemies Section was removed due to its constantly changing nature and the author's lack of time to maintain it. The author declared this the final update, with only minor revisions made.

Version 0.90: After a long period of inactivity, work on the guide resumed. The other six skills were completed, with only the Monsters section remaining.

Version 0.86: The guide was nearing completion, with only 4 skills left to cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) before the Monsters section. It was anticipated that approximately two more updates would be released.

Version 0.80: The Quest Section was finished.

Version 0.70: Some minor fixes were implemented, and all Free To Play Quests were completed.

Version 0.51: Numerous spelling errors were corrected.

Version 0.50: The version number was fixed, another Skill was finished, one Quest was completed, and a significant number of Monsters were documented. At this point, the guide was estimated to be about halfway finished.

Version 0.40: The guide was growing, with all sections completed except for Skills, Quests, and Monsters, which were expected to take a considerable amount of time.

Version 0.25: This was the first update, featuring the completion of the Agility and Cooking skills. Many smaller elements were also finished, including Weapons, Armor, Text Color, and the Exp. Chart. The next update was expected to be substantially larger.

Basics of the Game: RuneScape is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) where the primary goal is to become the strongest character. This involves significant time investment in combat and leveling. Many players focus on enjoyment rather than solely on becoming the best. The game is noted for its social interaction, allowing players to make friends and escape real-world stress. Players are advised against begging for items, using offensive language (which can lead to a ban), and should focus on fighting and leveling up. It is important to avoid getting a Skull in the Wilderness, as dying with a Skull results in the loss of all equipment. Having fun and being friendly is encouraged.

RuneScape (RS2): This section refers to the newer version of RuneScape, also known as RS2, which features improved graphics and additional content. Most players use this version, although a small community still plays Classic RuneScape. RS2 is the only version that continues to receive updates, as updating the older version would be inefficient due to its limited player base.
