Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Talk to Almera, who tells you her son is looking for treasure in the waterfall.

    Board the raft to reach an island with a bare tree. Talk to the boy and jump off (you will take some damage).
  3. 3
    Go to the nearby house and speak to Hadley.
  4. 4
    Return to Almera, then go back to Hadley's house and go upstairs to find and read a book.

    Speak to Hadley again. You can optionally visit the lady's grave east of Hadley's tourist info center, noting a hole for a pebble.

    Travel to Gnome Village, west of the fight arena. Navigate the hedge maze to find a ladder south of the village.

    Go down the ladder into a dungeon. Go east, search crates, and find the big key in the southwest crate.

    Go to the west side of the dungeon, use the big key on the prison gate, and speak to the gnome to receive a pebble.

    Return to Ardougne, bank all armour and weapons, and prepare with food and the pebble.

    Go to the lady's grave (east of Hadley's tourist info center) and use the pebble on it to enter.

    Inside the grave, you will encounter level 24 zombies, non-aggressive level 21 skeletons, and aggressive level 62 moss giants.

    Navigate the two sections of the dungeon. Find a cupboard with an urn.

    Go to the tables, click the "odd looking wall", and search the coffin to find an amulet.

    Exit the grave and return to Ardougne.

    Gather your armour, food, stat restore potion, the 18 runes, the urn, the rope, and the quest amulet. Equip the quest amulet.

    Return to where you spoke to Almera and board the raft.

    On the island, use the rope on the tree to go to the next island. Repeat this on the second island.

    Use the rope on the tree at the edge of the falls to reach a large door (the rope will disappear).

    Warning: Be careful not to click the door directly, as you might fall down the waterfall. Right-click the door and open it.

    Inside, you will face level 53 shadow spiders that deplete prayer.

    Go east to find level 21 mage skeletons (which lower combat stats) and level 54 skeletons. Search crates to find a key.

    Go to the west side. Warning: You must pass through level 109 fire giants.

    Push the odd-looking wall and go through the passage. Use the key on the door.

    In the room with 6 pillars and a statue, use one of each rune (earth, water, air) on each pillar.

    Use the amulet on the statue. The floor will rise, allowing you to reach the treasure on the ceiling.

    Use the urn on the treasure to obtain it. Failure to do so will result in being swept away, requiring you to redo the puzzle (but not the rune placement).

    Exit the dungeon the way you came and jump into the waterfall.

  • Bring a stat restore potion as the mage skeletons can significantly lower your combat stats.
  • Ensure you have all the required runes and items before returning to the raft.
  • The shadow spiders in the dungeon deplete prayer, so be prepared.
