Talk to Brother Kojo in the house south of the Ardougne Zoo, near the clock tower.

Collect all four cogs from the basement. You can only carry one at a time. The colored blocks on the floor indicate the general direction of each cog.

Black Cog: Get a bucket of water. Go to the west side of the basement and find the cog surrounded by fires. Use the bucket of water on it to cool it down, then pick it up. Place it on the black pole on the first floor.

Purple Cog: Go to the hall east of the four squares in the basement. Find a passage to a room with rat poison and pick it up. Go north to the Dungeon Rats' location. Adjust the levers to open the two closed gates. Use the rat poison on the food trough. Close and then reopen the gates to kill the rats. Enter the cage, go to the east end, and click 'search' on the bars to climb through. Pick up the cog, go up the ladder, and use it on the purple pole on the third floor.

Red Cog: Go to the four colored squares in the basement, then west, and take the southwest passage to the ogres (level 58). Pick up the cog near the chests. Place it on the red pole on the second floor.

Blue Cog: Go west of the clock tower, cross the bridge over the Ardougne River, and go north to a bridge. Cross this bridge and go west to a ladder. Go down the ladder and follow the passage. At the end, push the odd-looking wall, pick up the cog, and go up the ladder. Place it on the blue pole in the basement.

Once all cogs are placed, talk to Brother Kojo again to receive your reward.
