Navigate Zerard City's Main Street, East Side, and West Side in Rogue Company. Discover treasure chests, shops, and essential items like Iron Boards and Revolva Alloy.

Lilika and Simon automatically join you for the mission on Zerard. You have control of Jaster on Zerard's Main Street. Your objective is to reach the Galaxy Corporation at the north end of Main Street. Explore some of the city before you go.

Main Street and Spaceport

  • Treasure: Divine Healing, Firestone x3 (Star Key), Silver Bangle, Max Heal x2, Absolute Zero Stone x2, Spirit Bell, Dreamflower Ash, Ruby x3, Tri-Charge, Sticky Gum x5

From your starting position, about-face and enter the Spaceport. There are a couple of chests in the northeast corner, although one requires the Star Key to open. You will find several more chests outside at the Depot to the south. To the southwest of the Depot exit, a pair of chests hold a Silver Bangle and Max Heal x2. A row of three chests further east offers Absolute Zero Stone x2, a Spirit Bell and some Dreamflower Ash. You can use the Spaceport: Depot Transporter to save your game.

Return to Main Street and head north. There are two Peddlers here selling recovery items, a few materials and some new weapons. Near the first peddler, Ulgenie, there are dead-end side streets leading east and west. A chest in the west dead end contains Ruby x3. Hanbarney, the second peddler, is further north near the Main Street: Fountain Plaza Transporter. There are similar dead ends north of the Transporter and you will find a Tri-Charge and Sticky Gum x5 in chests at the east dead end.

Tunnel-like paths lead from Main Street to the East and West Sides of Zerard.

The Peddler near the Main Street: Fountain Plaza Transporter and the Item Shops on the East and West Sides sell some useful materials, particularly metals you will need later. You are going to need a lot of Iron Boards, Revolva Alloy, Izerium and Zeranium. Some of these are available in limited quantity. Buy as much as you can afford now. The Shops will replenish their supply as the story progresses and you can come back later to buy more.
You may want to stock up on Resurrections and Recharge Drinks, too.

When buying weapons from any of the shops in Zerard, concentrate on current party members. You will be able to buy more weapons for the rest of the team later.

Explore the East Side of Zerard first.

East Side

  • Treasure: Geo Hands, Retro Boombox x3, Ancient Scroll I (Earth Key), Hard Candy x2

When you leave the tunnel, you will see a chest directly ahead. Open it to get a pair of Geo Hands for Steve. You will also find an Item Shop and a Weapon Shop with some new offerings. A chest outside the west wall of the Item shop contains Retro Boombox x3. Use the Earth Key to open a chest in the loft of the Item Shop that contains an Ancient Scroll I. East of the Item Shop, a path leads south to the Weapon Shop. You can get Hard Candy x2 from a chest east of the Weapon Shop entrance. The east path leads to the Starship Factory, which you can't enter now.

Go north and east to the East Side Transporter. The nearby building is the Insectron Stadium. There are two shops at the kiosk inside the Stadium. Miralka will sell you an Insectron license. You won't be able to compete in the Insectron Tournament without one, but you can buy it later. Shazelle sells Insector Traps, Rearing Cages and Bait. If you venture further into the Stadium you will view a scene with a familiar face.

Several of the Bait items sold at the Insectron Stadium can also be used in the Revelation Flow. Make sure you have at least a couple of Sanchez Fruits in your inventory before you continue with the story.

Use the East Side: Near the Insectron Stadium Transporter to return to Main Street: Fountain Plaza and then head to the West Side.

West Side

  • Treasure: Lapis Lazuli, Tri-Heal, Ranger Pod I, Dreamflower Ash x2, Mirror Unit

As you leave the tunnel, check an alcove on the north side for two chests with a Lapis Lazuli and a Tri-Heal. Zerard's West Side also offers an Item Shop and a Weapon Shop, each with some inventory different from what you have seen. In addition to weapons, the Weapon Shop sells Ancient Scroll I to teach your characters the Burning Strike ability through the Revelation Flow.

The Ancient Scrolls are expensive and unless you are in a hurry for someone to learn Burning Strike, save your cash. If you continue with the story, you will be able to find enough Ancient Scrolls in treasure chests to teach the ability to every character.

The path here zigzags west and south. Go past the Weapon shop entrance. After the path turns south again, you can find a chest against the Weapon Shop's west wall. Inside is a Ranger Pod I for Simon. You can't go any further west now, so you will have to come back later for the items in the last two chests shown on the map above.

When you are finished shopping and collecting items, teleport back to Main Street: Fountain Plaza and head north to enter the Galaxy Corporation.

Galaxy Corporation

  • Treasure: Ancient Scroll I (Thief's Trap), Thunder Stone x2, Flame God's Stone x2, Energy Charger, Dreamflower Ash, Hoho Bird Feather (Star Key)

There is another Transporter just inside the entrance to the Galaxy Corporation. Before approaching the reception desk in the center, walk around the perimeter to collect some items. On the left side of the ramp ahead of you is a chest protected by a Thief's Trap. Disarm the Trap to obtain the Ancient Scroll I inside.

If you walk around the entrance area counter-clockwise, past what looks like an elevator with red doors, you will find two chests in a recessed area beside the elevator. Open them to obtain Thunder Stone x2 and Flame God's Stone x2.
