Abilities - Revelation Flow

Learn how to effectively use the Revelation Flow Chart in Rogue Company to unlock character abilities, increase stats, and improve resistances. A complete guide.

In _Rogue Galaxy_, characters learn new abilities through a Revelation Flow Chart. Each character has his/her own Chart and can learn abilities, increase stats, and improve resistances by placing items in the Chart.

Select Revelation from the Main Menu and choose a character to open the Chart. You will see a board filled with slots that are mostly hidden to begin with. The open spaces are shaped like specific items you can find or buy as you play the game. Place the appropriate item(s) in open slots to learn abilities and unlock more abilities.

Each character starts with three open abilities located in different parts of the Chart. Fill the empty item slots to reveal an ability and make it available to the character in battle. Revealing an ability also expands the board, exposing new abilities adjacent to the one you learned. The more powerful abilities will be farther away from the starting points and will require items you won't have access to at the beginning.

All characters can learn abilities that are combination attacks with other specific characters. Some characters learn joint attacks that involve three specific characters. These combination attacks require that all of the involved characters be in the battle party and you won't be able to use one if any character is unable to act (Dazed, Confused, etc.).

When you find an item that can be used to fill an open slot in someone's Revelation Flow Chart, the Revelation heading in the Main Menu flashes. Open Revelation and the portraits of characters who have empty slots for items in your inventory will also flash. In a Shop, a light bulb will appear beside the name of a currently needed item.

Nearly every material type of item you come across, whether bought or dropped by an enemy, can be used in someone's Revelation Flow Chart. Some materials are commonly available, others are mainly dropped by enemies and you will find yourself farming those enemies to obtain enough materials for everyone's Chart.

Fill all the empty item slots in every character's Chart and you will have completed the Revelation Flow. Visit MIO at the Galaxy Corporation and she will reward you with the Full Metal Jacket, an alternate outfit for Deego.
