• Wandering Soul (Flame): Approaching a ball of flame triggers a scene. Offer water to the man.
• Wandering Soul (Snake Bite): Near a Transporter on the northwest path, agree to help a snake-bitten girl.
• Withered Corpse: Examine the body on the southeast path to find a Bag of Coins.
• Monument Scene: South of the converging paths, speak to a woman at the monument. Tell her you have seen her husband, that he is not well, and give her the Bag of Coins.

Successfully completing these events allows passage through the sandstorm to Johannasburg.
