Discover how to unlock all Rocket League vehicles and their secrets on PS4. Learn about common, import, and console-exclusive Battle-Cars to dominate the arena.
This guide details the various vehicle bodies, also known as Battle-Cars, in Rocket League. These are the primary means of player customization. The game features ten standard car bodies, with four available by default and six unlockable through gameplay. These default cars are classified as Base rarity and are assigned to one of six Body Types. Psyonix introduces new Battle-Cars through Blueprints, the Item Shop, and the Rocket Pass, bringing the total to over 75 vehicle bodies.
Base Vehicles
Most Common bodies can be unlocked by completing matches. The default cars are Octane, Breakout, and Merc. Previously, Octane, Gizmo, Road Hog, and X-Devil were the default cars. Painted variants of some Common bodies were introduced in Patch v1.79, obtainable via the trade-in system and classified as Import rarity.
