Rocket League's Battle-Cars, or Bodies, are the primary method of player customization. The game features ten standard car bodies, with four available by default and six unlockable through gameplay. These default cars are classified as Base rarity and fall into one of six Body Types. Psyonix introduces new Battle-Cars through Blueprints, the Item Shop, and Rocket Pass, bringing the total to over 75 vehicle bodies.

Base Vehicles

Most Common bodies can be unlocked by completing matches. The default cars are Octane, Breakout, and Merc. Previously, the default cars included Gizmo, Road Hog, and X-Devil. Painted variants of Common bodies can be obtained via the trade-in system and are classified as Import rarity.

• Sweet Tooth (PS4) — PlayStation exclusive unlockable Battle-Car.
• Hogsticker (Xbox One) — Xbox exclusive unlockable Battle-Car. Unlocked by playing one match with every common body.
• Armadillo (Xbox One) — Xbox exclusive unlockable Battle-Car. Unlocked by completing a season in the single-player Season Mode.
• Mario NSR (Nintendo Switch) — Nintendo Switch exclusive unlockable Battle-Car. May only be used while on the orange team.
• Luigi NSR (Nintendo Switch) — Nintendo Switch exclusive unlockable Battle-Car.
• Samus' Gunship (Nintendo Switch) — Nintendo Switch exclusive unlockable Battle-Car.
