This guide covers the various car bodies, also known as Battle-Cars, in Rocket League. These are the primary means of player customization. The game features ten standard car bodies, with four available by default and six unlockable through gameplay. These are classified as Base rarity and fall into six Body Types. Psyonix introduces new Battle-Cars through Blueprints, the Item Shop, and Rocket Pass, bringing the total to over 75 vehicle bodies.

• Common Vehicles: Most common bodies are unlocked by completing matches. The default cars are Octane, Breakout, and Merc. Previously, Gizmo, Road Hog, and X-Devil were default. Painted variants of common bodies can be obtained via trade-in and are classified as Import rarity. Breakout, Octane, and Merc are granted at the start; others are unlocked via New Driver Challenges.
• Console Exclusives: Specific console versions include exclusive unlockable Battle-Cars. The PlayStation 4 has Sweet Tooth. The Xbox One has Hogsticker (unlocked by playing with every common body) and Armadillo (unlocked by completing a season in Season Mode). The Nintendo Switch has Mario NSR (orange team only), Luigi NSR, and Samus' Gunship.
