Alright, we're heading back into that tower with the blue beam. You'll want to go through the door labeled 'ROOF-SS'. There's a Grunt waiting for you in there, so take him out. If Rhodes is with you, his Hyperblaster can make short work of him. After that, head into the next room, go downstairs, and you'll find yourself in a big, circular room. Before you go looking for the lift, check around the crates – you can grab two LARGE HEALTH PACKS, two CLIPS, a SMALL ARMOR VEST, BATTERIES, and GRENADES. Now, head behind the windows and you'll see a 'Call Lift' panel. Go ahead and press it, you probably will anyway! While you wait for the elevator, about five Tactical Transfers are going to rush in. They shouldn't be too much trouble, especially with Rhodes backing you up. A Grunt will also ride up on the elevator with you, so be ready for that. Get on the lift and ride it up.

As you ascend, take a moment to look out the windows. You'll get a pretty sweet view of the Nexus Core and the other towers in the distance. Don't worry if you're not a fan of heights, we're almost there! When you arrive, exit the elevator room and head through the door in the short hallway. There's a HEALTH STATION in here if you need it, so top off if you're low. Keep going through a few more doors until you reach another lift. In this hallway, you'll also find three SMALL HEALTH PACKS, some SLUGS, SHELLS, NAILS, and a LARGE ARMOR VEST. Stock up on that good stuff! Ride the lift up and step out – you're on the tower's roof now. A Strogg Flyer will make an appearance and drop four Tactical Transfers for you and Rhodes to handle. Honestly, if you've made it this far, they probably should have sent something a bit tougher, right?

Now, make your way to the very edge of the roof – seriously, don't look down if you're squeamish! You'll find the first security console there. Interact with it and select 'Reactivate'. Watch the animation play out. That's one tower down, two more to go. Unfortunately, Rhodes has to stay behind to guard this console, so you'll be on your own for the next part.
